We preserve product efficacy with temperature-controlled storage and shipping for vaccines and temperature-sensitive products.
Temperature-sensitive medicines such as vaccines, insulins and biological products may lose their efficacy if they do not stay within a certain temperature range from production to the patient. At Pharmedica, we consider maintaining an uninterrupted cold chain for these products one of our most important responsibilities.
How we work
- Controlled storage: Cold chain products (usually between +2 °C and +8 °C) are stored in dedicated, temperature-monitored areas.
- Suitable packaging: Shipments are prepared to maintain the temperature range the product requires.
- Careful delivery: Temperature-sensitive orders are prioritized in delivery.
- GDP compliance: All processes are carried out and recorded in line with Good Distribution Practice.
We also offer specially prepared temperature-controlled logistics services for our suppliers (e.g. vaccine distribution).
